FORMAT AND PROCEDURE
PRACTICE AND QUALIFYING
PAIRINGS
Cars will be allocated a staging lane based on street or competition entry and predicted mph to keep practice/qualifying runs paired evenly performance-wise.
QUALIFYING PROCEDURE
MPH will be taken from all qualifying runs to determine qualifying brackets.
There is a break-out rule. Any car that goes faster than the bottom qualifier in the bracket above theirs will be have the speed disqualified and lose the run. E.g., If the bottom qualifier in the group above yours is 177mph and you run 180mph, the run is disqualified and it will count as a loss.
RUN PROCEDURE
Cars are released from the start area and smoothly accelerate until the “start zone”, marked by cones.
The left lane dictates the pace and the start speed is 55-65mph.
Once cars are side by side at the same steady speed, the light will go green.
The sooner you get side by side, the sooner the light will go green.
During practice/qualifying the light will always go green, even if cars are not together, but it is encouraged to have an even start every time as grudge matches will happen during the day.
A speed gun will monitor start speeds to ensure it is not over 65mph. If over 65mph, the run will not count towards qualifying.

RUN PROCEDURE
Cars are released from the start area and smoothly accelerate until the “start zone”, marked by cones.
The left lane dictates the pace and the start speed is 45-55mph.
The lighting system consists of a green light and red light only.
Once cars are side by side at the same steady speed, a green light will come on and the race is on.
A speed gun will monitor the left lane speed.
The green light will not come on if the right lane is under or over that speed.
If there is no green light, there is no race and competitors need to go around and run again.
If the red light comes on, the run needs to be aborted as the track has shut down for safety reasons.
RE-RUN PROTOCOLS
Where there is no green light, the driver at fault will receive a strike.
Two strikes and you are automatically eliminated to avoid multiple re-runs.
RIGHT LANE AT FAULT:
It is the responsibility of the driver in the right lane to get side by side in the start zone.
If the right lane driver doesn’t get side by side, the fault will be deemed theirs.
LEFT LANE AT FAULT
It is the responsibility of the driver in the left lane to get within the start speed and maintain speed.
If the driver in the left lane has a speed too slow or too fast, or changes speed too much, the fault will be deemed theirs.
TROPHIES
There will be trophies and prizes for the winner and runner-up in each category.
