What is GT-R Festival?

GT-R Festival is the world's biggest celebration of the Nissan GT-R and Skyline. Events are held each year in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States, bringing together GT-R and Nissan owners, enthusiasts, and fans for a weekend of drag racing, roll racing, show and shine, drifting, workshops, new build unveilings, and much more.

Do I need to own a GT-R to attend?

Not at all. GT-R Festival is open to everyone - GT-R owners, Nissan fans, and general automotive enthusiasts alike. Whether you're entering a car, racing on the strip, or coming along as a spectator, you're welcome.

Is GT-R Festival a family-friendly event?

Yes. The event is designed for all ages, with dedicated kids' activities, ride-on experiences, and a festival atmosphere that goes well beyond the racing.

What's on at GT-R Festival?

GT-R Festival features drag racing, roll racing, show and shine, drifting demonstrations, GT-R workshops, new build unveilings, a Nismo Meet, an elite collector car display, autocross, kids' rides, a VIP area, a car meet, and a full trader and food village.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

Outside food and drink policies vary by venue. Food and beverage traders are on site at all events. Check the specific information for your territory below.

Is parking available on site?

Yes. Parking is available at all venues. Specific parking arrangements and any applicable fees are detailed in the territory-specific sections below.

Is the event accessible for people with disabilities?

All venues make reasonable provisions for accessibility. If you have specific requirements, please contact us at info@gtrfestival.com in advance and we'll do everything we can to help.

Is there accommodation nearby?

We don't have an official accommodation partner, but all venues are well serviced by local hotels and short-let accommodation. We recommend booking early, particularly for multi-day events.

TICKETS

I paid online but didn’t get my tickets?

All tickets will be sent out by the week of the event at the latest.

How do I buy spectator tickets?

Spectator tickets are available online. Head to our ticketing page to purchase. We strongly recommend buying in advance - tickets are cheaper online and events have sold out at the gate previously.

What is included in a standard spectator ticket?

A spectator ticket gives you full access to the venue including all show areas, drag strip viewing, drifting demos, the Nismo Meet, workshops, trader village, and kids activities.

What is a VIP Pass AND WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE?

VIP Passes include exclusive access to the VIP area, VIP parking, premium viewing positions and additional hospitality. Full details and availability are listed on the VIP page specific to the venue location.

Can I buy tickets on THE GATE?

Subject to availability. We always recommend purchasing online in advance to guarantee entry and secure the best price.

are there concessions for children?

Children's ticket pricing varies by territory. Check the ticketing page for your specific event for current pricing.

RACING & CLASSES

What cars aRE ELIGIBILE TO RACE?

GT-R Festival welcomes all Nissan GT-R’s and Skylines, plus other Nissan models. We do also account for Imposter Classes for any non Nissan builds by application or invitation. Racing categories are broken down per country and can be found.

do i need a highly modified car to enter?

No. Racing at GT-R Festival is designed to be inclusive at all levels of modification - from completely stock road cars entering for the first time to professional drag-built machines.

What racing categories are available?

A full breakdown of racing categories, eligibility rules and technical requirements is available via our Rules & Regulations Categories vary slightly by territory.

What is roll racing?

Roll racing starts from a rolling 50-60kph/30mph rather than a standing start, making it accesssible for a wide range of road and modified cars. It is separate activity from drag racing and runs on a dedicated section of the strip.

what does a car entry include?

A car entry includes venue access across all event days purchased for the car + driver only. Any passengers, kids, extra attendees will need their own tickets.

can i trader or exhibit GT-R Festival?

Yes. We welcome traders, vendors and exhibitors across automotive parts, accessories, merchandise etc. Please email info@gtrfestival.comfor more information.

How do I apply to be a trader?

What do I need to trade at the event?

All traders are required to hold valid Public Liability Insurance and complete a trader acknowledgment form prior to the event. Insurance minimums and specific requirements vary by territory and will be communicated upon application approval.
